Hi, i use the Sodius DXL editor and i have a little problem. I write this code: Module m = current print fullName(m) "\n" And get this error: null Module parameter was passed into argument position 1 But when i use the dxl editor in the module (Tools->Edit DXL...) : Output: /Test/MyModule
I think the fault is command current...
Maybe someone of you had the same problem and find a solution I would like to use the Sodius Editor furthermore.. meinhana - Fri Dec 11 05:34:57 EST 2015 |
Re: Problem with Sodius DXL Editor If you run the code from a module menu then current will never be null. I think you can run DXL from inside Sodius but I never used it. I don't know which context the sodius execution runs in. If it is top context then you may have to set module variables explicitly rather than assigning from 'current'. Sean |

Sean ... ironically this works in Sodius Projekt p = current print fullName(p) "\n" Output: /Test |
Re: Problem with Sodius DXL Editor It is probably running from the baseWindow context then If you run this code from the baseWindow >tools>edit DXL... the project prints but the module does not print (runtime error) even if there is an open current module. Project p = current print fullName p Module m = current print fullName m You will need to assign m explicitly e.g. Module m = read "/Project01/Module01" Unless there is an option in Sodius to change the context Sean |
Re: Problem with Sodius DXL Editor Hello Meinhana, when you run a DXL script out of the DXL Editor for the first time, you are prompted for the module that shall be the context. (either "do not set a 'current' item" or "use this 'current' item:…" ) If you do not click on "Use this as the default for this file…" you will be asked again for every run. If you want to change your mind later, you can go to "Run -> Run Configurations" in Eclipse. There you can change the Current Item.
